2008 Second Annual Banquet

Judge Barbara Rothstein

MAMA Seattle celebrated its Second Annual Banquet at the Sheraton Hotel in Seattle on November 5, 2008, honoring Judge Barbara Rothstein, the Director of the Federal Judicial Center, with MAMA Seattle’s Leadership and Justice Award. Judge Rothstein was appointed as a United States District Court Judge for the Western District of Washington in 1980 and served as Chief Judge from 1987 to 1994. She is a leader for women and mother attorneys, and exemplifies the principles MAMA Seattle is built upon. Introductory remarks were provided by Judge Pechman of the United States District Court, Western District of Washington, who is also a mother and a leader in our community of MAMA Seattle members and mother attorneys. MAMA Seattle was honored to host both Judge Rothstein and Judge Pechman at its very successful second Annual Banquet!
